We loved wandering around and getting a good <strong>view<\/strong> of the Swedish capital. We were delighted to discover the places mentioned in Stieg Larsson&#8217;s<strong> Millenium<\/strong> saga.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For swimming, we recommend the <strong>Tanto strandbad<\/strong> bathing area southwest of S\u00f6dermalm, one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pourquoi-pas-nous.com\/en\/beaches-stockholm\/\" data-type=\"post\" We loved walking along the quays to reach the historic center. A great moment of our stay.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This district is also home to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pourquoi-pas-nous.com\/en\/visit-stockholm-city-hall\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"43033\">Stockholm&#8217;<\/a>s imposing red-brick <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pourquoi-pas-nous.com\/en\/visit-stockholm-city-hall\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"43033\">City Hall<\/a>, with its 160-metre-high tower. If you wish, you can climb up to enjoy a panoramic view of Stockholm. In a beautiful, completely renovated building, our accommodation was spacious with a mini fridge and carefully decorated, excellent <strong>value for money <\/strong>where you&#8217;ll feel right at home. We would definitely go back. We even talked to some Swedes who don&#8217;t lock their houses when they go on vacation (we won&#8217;t tell you where they live.) and we saw many bicycles without padlocks on the streets.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you&#8217;ll find in playgrounds, restaurants, churches and museums, there are <strong>plenty of<\/strong> children&#8217;s <strong>games<\/strong> available.  <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In short, after 1 month in Sweden, <strong>we never felt insecure<\/strong>. In Stockholm, we were a little more vigilant in the busy tourist district of <strong>Gamla Stan<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the <strong>free walking tour<\/strong>, our guide kindly warned us that groups are easy targets for pickpockets. We were a little surprised by this point of vigilance.
