This huge open-air venue<strong> <\/strong>is the proof.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A little history, this museum was created in <strong>1891<\/strong> by the founder of <strong>Nordiska museet<\/strong> (Nordic Museum) to preserve <strong>traditional folk culture<\/strong>. The idea was to create a <strong>small concentrate of Sweden<\/strong>, in which you can observe a hundred or so<strong> traditional habitats <\/strong>(houses, stores, churches, mills, farms, schools&#8230;) from each region of the country.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s a <strong>living museum<\/strong>, where you can interact with many passionate extras. The village is always <strong>lively<\/strong>. In summer, we attended a <strong>folk music<\/strong> concert. During the festive season, a magnificent Christmas market takes place in the alleys of the park.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There&#8217;s even a <strong>park<\/strong> with animals from the far north (reindeer, elk&#8230;). What&#8217;s most interesting is to open the doors and observe the decorations, details and objects of the period.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s a veritable <strong>living museum<\/strong>, with costumed extras explaining the era you&#8217;re in and the function of the items in the various houses. We loved the rich explanations.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Afterwards, you can head off to the <strong>craftsmen&#8217;s and tradesmen&#8217;s<\/strong> district (potter, grocer, weaver, glassblower&#8230;). We loved watching the <strong>glassblower<\/strong>, which is always a mesmerizing moment for the whole family. Although we could have spent the whole day surveying the park, we had plenty of time to enjoy it.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We loved the<strong>atmosphere <\/strong>inside the park and the <strong>various reconstructions<\/strong>.
