What to Do in Gothenburg? Our Must-See Spots on the Map <\/h2>\n\n

Gothenburg is Sweden’s second-largest city<\/strong>, after Stockholm<\/a>. Despite its size, its downtown struck us as particularly peaceful. There is certainly traffic, but the pedestrian-friendly streets, trams, and bike lanes make exploring the city a pleasure. <\/p>\n\n

We really enjoyed strolling through the historic center, the various parks, and the archipelago. Gothenburg is a tree-lined city that\u2019s easy to get around and ideal for alternating between city sightseeing and nature. <\/p>\n\n
