The dry season is coming to an end and the first rains may appear, although they remain rare and localized. Here’s what to expect, depending on the region:

Etosha National Park: still very dry, with temperatures between 20 and 35°C. The rains generally start at the end of November, marking the dispersal of the animals after the dry season.

Namib Desert and Sossusvlei: hot days(25-40°C) and cooler nights. The dunes remain impressive and easily accessible.

Swakopmund and Skeleton Coast: cooler climate(15-25°C) with coastal fog in the morning, offering a mystical atmosphere for discovering shipwrecks and sea lion colonies.

Damaraland and Kaokoland: warm temperatures, with nature still arid before the first rains. November is a good time to see desert elephants.

Windhoek: hot, dry climate, with temperatures around 30°C during the day.
