Since the 1960s, this little hilltop district has asserted its independent spirit. Here, you&#8217;ll find flower-filled alleyways, colorful facades and an almost village-like atmosphere. It&#8217;s easily accessible and offers clear water with a view of the old town. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the <strong>Cap d&#8217;Antibes<\/strong> side, certain coves such as <strong>Creeque de la Garoupe<\/strong> and <strong>Plage des Ondes<\/strong> are wilder and less crowded. The transparency of the water is always impressive, especially when you&#8217;re used to the Atlantic. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Explore_Cap_dAntibes\"><\/span>Explore Cap d&#8217;Antibes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>sentier du littoral<\/strong>, also known as the Tire-Poil trail, is a beautiful walk. You walk over rocks with a constant view of the sea. It&#8217;s an accessible route that allows you to discover unspoilt nature.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alltrails.com\/fr\/randonnee\/france\/alpes-maritimes\/cap-d-antibes\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.alltrails.com\/fr\/randonnee\/france\/alpes-maritimes\/cap-d-antibes\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">route<\/a> is about <strong>5 km round trip<\/strong> (about 2.5 km one way). Allow <strong>1h30 to 2h for the walk<\/strong>, depending on your pace and the time you take for photo breaks, of which there will be many. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Visit_the_Picasso_Museum\"><\/span>Visit the Picasso Museum<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Housed in the <strong>Ch\u00e2teau Grimaldi,<\/strong> the Mus\u00e9e Picasso recalls the artist&#8217;s stay here in 1946. Invited to work in the ch\u00e2teau, he produced numerous works inspired by the Mediterranean light and the nearby sea. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here you can discover emblematic paintings such as <em><strong>La Joie de vivre<\/strong><\/em>but also drawings, ceramics and several sculptures. The themes are influenced by Antiquity, mythology and Mediterranean life, with fauns, centaurs and female figures bathed in light. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The museum also features works by modern and contemporary artists, enriching the visit.
