Lake Como camping: discover our top 5

Numerous campsites line the shores of beautiful Lake Como. During our second visit to Lake Como, we wanted to sleep in the middle of nature, near the shores of the lake, to fully enjoy this incredible natural setting.

We had the opportunity to test several campsites in bungalow and tent. We list below our favorite campsites as well as useful information (access to the lake, swimming pool, proposed activities…).

Our top 5 on our map

1. Camping Hotel at Lake Como: by the lake

We liked it because of its exceptional location in a quiet area by the lake with a swimming pool. A well-maintained campsite in the middle of nature that offers mobile homes and bungalows. An ideal location for traveling north of Lake Como. And best of all, you can swim in the lake directly from the campsite.

2. Camping Montorfano: ideally located, with swimming pool

This is an ideal campsite for your stay. A human-sized family campground with swimming pool and playground, which offers bungalows, tents and chalets for rent. It is ideally located for visiting Lake Como and its surroundings. An ideal choice at a low price.

Located on the south side of the lake, 2 minutes drive from the city of Como and close to the picturesque villages of Bellagio and Lecco.

Weekly reservations in July and August.

South of the lake, ideal for visiting Bellagio, Varenna, Como and Lecco, small campsite with its feet in the water. Great welcome and beautiful view of Lake Como. Possibility to rent kayaks for a very reasonable budget. With bar and restaurant.

4. Camping Solarium : north of the lake

On the north side of the lake, a beautiful campsite with trees and pitches for motorhomes, vans and tents…. as well as bungalows for rent.

5. Campeggio Ai Colli Fioriti: in the middle of nature

Location in the hills between Lake Como and Lake Lugano. Nice little campground nestled in the middle of nature, with a very pleasant staff that offers bungalows and mobile homes for rent as well as sites for motor homes, vans, tents….
